When you come in for your first appointment, be sure to bring any medically identifying material that might be needed—like a driver’s license, for example—and be prepared to spend a few minutes filling out your patient intake forms. These better allow our staff to track your medical progress, and lets us keep your billing information on file.
Your dentist will then invite you in for a preliminary consultation, where they will ask about your medical history, home oral care habits, and goals for your mouth teeth. If you have a specific issue you’d like to have examined by your dentist, your initial consultation may be a bit shorter, but otherwise, you and your dentist will create a dental care plan that serves your needs and gets you on track to optimal oral health.
